Scopus
Scopus is an indexing service owned and operated by the academic publisher Elsevier. Elsevier provides several tutorials on how to use Scopus here. ETASR was accepted for indexing in Scopus in November 13, 2022. You can see the indexing tracking progress here. Scopus updates its site once a year (usually in the spring), although delays can be expected (and had been experienced in our case). Until then, the inclusion of accepted journals is documented in the Scopus Source List (in the second tab "Accepted titles") which is updated monthly. A copy of the Scopus Source List  of November 2022 with ETASR included (for the first time) in the "Accepted titles" tab can be found here. The list can be found in the Scopus site if you click on "Sources" (upper right corner of homepage) and then click on the "Download Scopus Source List" link that appears to the right of the page (above the list of results). A direct list of the Scopus Source List is provided here. Related services (ranking, metrics etc) such as CiteScore are calculated annualy and it seems that due to these delays ETASR was not included in the 2023 annual calculation. However, Scopus offers a monthly calculation of citation impact through the CiteScore Tracker. For example, CiteScore Tracker 2023 counts the citations received in 2020-2023 to articles, reviews, conference papers, book chapters and data papers published in 2020-2023, and divides this by the number of publications published in 2020-2023. CiteScoreTracker continues to update on a monthly basis until the next annual CiteScore calculation. You can see ETASR indexed in Scopus and also see its CiteScore Tracker value here.

SCImago Journal & Country Rank (SJR)
The SCImago Journal & Country Rank is a publicly available portal that includes the journals and country scientific indicators developed from the information contained in the Scopus database. SCImago also calculates the SJR metric which is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. The SJR metric is used to rank journals in different quartiles. ETASR SJR: 0.37 (2023) and Quartile Ranking: Q2 (2023). You can see ETASR indexed in SCImago, check its SJR value and quartile ranking here.

Crossref
ETASR joined Crossref (or CrossRef) in late 2020. Crossref is an official Digital Object Identifier (DOI) Registration Agency. Crossref is a not-for-profit association counting thousands of voting member publishers who represent an even larger number of societies and publishers. It was launched in early 2000 as a cooperative effort to enable persistent cross-publisher citation linking in online academic journals. Following its membership, ETASR assigned DOIs to all published articles and even applied Reference Linking (i.e. find and post available DOIs for all references in all articles' abstract pages). ETASR's participation report can be found here (make sure to select the "All time" choice from the drop down menu).  Metadata search and DOI lookup within Crossref can be conducted here.

Scilit
Scilit is a database of scholarly works developed and maintained by MDPI (an open access publisher). Exaly
Exaly is a non-profit and commercially disinterested comprehensive scholarly search engine. It was initiated as a research project and its stated goal is to provide all the services researchers need in one place and make them freely available to everyone. Exaly claims to provide almost all services by Google Scholar, Web of Science, Publons, Scopus, Crossref, and ResearchGate combined. However whereas almost all databases have their own agenda and/or parent company, exaly claims to be unbiased and independent, as there is no corporate or commercial interest to affect the indexing strategies/policies and no human contribution/alteration. Instead e.g. of fixing errors in a case-by-case basis, they alter the whole algorithm to reduce the probability of that error. The 2023 impact factor of Engineering, Technology & Applied Science Research calculated by Exaly is 1.960. This impact factor has been calculated by dividing the number of citations in the year 2023 to the articles published in 2021 and 2022. Engineering, Technology & Applied Science Research published 219 and 287 articles in the years 2021 and 2022, which have received 425 and 567 citations in 2023, respectively. You can see ETASR indexed in Exaly here.
