Scam attempt: "etΕsr dot com" fake site and emails
We recently spotted another scam attempt to hijack our journal (after the previous "etasr dot org" scam attempt reported in 2020, see here for more information on that case). This time, it is a site called "etEsr dot com" that is trying to scam authors and readers. Note to all that the "etEsr dot com" site is a phishing/scam attempt. As obvious, our initials are ETASR (Engineering, Technology & Applied Science Research) and not etEsr and we have no connection to that site. ETASR actual (and only) site is (and always was) www.etasr.com and our editor's email is (and always was) [email protected]. This should be obvious to all persons familiar to our journal but we also post this announcement here in order to protect people that are not that familiar with our journal until the scam site is taken down.
Update (Nov 23, 2025):
The scam site was taken down today.
